Usually my pics of my sonas are not attached to any nation because they exist in their own fantastic realm. But for this I made an exception because I am above all else a Hispanic Latino Fur that hails from Puerto Rico. And while Latin presence in the furry fandom is very strong it was hard to see my own culture be seen or felt. It wasn't until ZeeDog contacted me through Telegram and invited me to his Puertorican Furries chat group where I met a lot of other furs born in the island and both living in the island or in the States, holding meet ups at cons or in the island itself.
Seeing pics of suiters and artist against familiar backdrops was cathartic because I never thought I would see such a presence of furs in my home island, and I thank ZeeDog for that.
