Another amazing concept piece done by the wonderful  hanazawa

As part of my ongoing project of creating and worldbuilding Libertyverse; character concepts play a major role in helping build the world setting.This time we explore the backstory behind Mistress Milk Maid.

Pamela Stafford hails from Falton Town on the Cascadian Federation capital world of Sererilla, the daughter of proud farmers, whose ancestors were among the first colonists to arrive in the Sonarius system from earth. Pamela had begun to show unusual powers at a young age, super strength and durability, as well as other abilities which she didn’t quite understand, despite this however her powers helped out greatly on the family ranch when it came to heavy lifting duties with equipment.

However life on the farm wasn’t always that peaceful, as the Stafford family had inherited not only the ranch, but a 200 year old unpaid loan from the megabank Jefferson holdings, a sub division of Appalachian Provisions Incorporated; which owned the loan on the ranch. With an interest rate almost impossible to pay off and Jefferson holdings managing to circumvent the Cascadian Federation’s strict corporate laws; the family would be harassed constantly by the bank's corporate debt collectors.

While the family resisted the bank’s threats, their luck ran out when a group of corporate supers sent by the bank came knocking to ruffle up the stafford’s and tear up the farm. Pamela would arrive home from daily errands and come upon her parents being badly beaten by the supers, while others began to trash the farmstead and home. Angered, she rushed in without a second moment and took the supers by surprise, beating the hell out of most of the team, who didn’t expect to face someone with powers.

The superpowered debt collectors were beaten back in retreat, and while the farm was damaged and her parents hurt, no one was killed that day. Pamela didn’t want her parents to go through the same trouble again, and while she could protect them and keep beating back the debt collectors, she knew that Jefferson holdings would continue to bury them in interest until the family was bankrupted.

She decided to leave him, leaving her parents in the safe care of their extended family, as she seeked to earn enough money to pay the debt. She was forced to turn to a life of crime at first, working as hired muscle for local crime groups and villains in both Grant City and New Dawn; while also taking part in underground wrestling cricurts in order to earn those credits. It was while she was fighting in one of those circuits that she ran into a prompter from the Universal Wrestling Federation, who witnessed her talents and offered her a chance to make some big bucks while being able to continue earning more from her various “side jobs” across the known universe.

Since that day she moonlights as Mistress Milk Maid, one of the rising superstars in the UWF, while also working as a supervillain and muscle for hire across known space. Given her association with the UWF, her criminal record is often overlooked; as the organisation often seeks to keep her employed even when she has been arrested and jailed, even giving her refuge from the law given her ability to bring crowds and viewers to UWF events.

Often superheroes seeking to take Milk Maid down have to join the UWF themselves in order to face her in the ring or during an all terrain event; with the powerhouse bovine happily issuing challenges to the universe’s strongest heroes to come and take her down.
