Some dipshit did a very sloppy parking job on these two...
These are ex-Metra exx-Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific bilevel commuter cars, found abandoned, graffiti'd and rusting at CN's ex-EJ&E Joliet Yard, Joliet, IL.

thay had been refurbish and for sale in 2006 6 of them had been sent out to Tacoma for the Golden Pacific RR steam trips but now are stored in Milwaukee OR. in about the same shape i hear those where X-metra X-C&NW cars

Yup, it's a cab car (operator controls the locomotive from this end so the train can run double-ended with one engine).

yep those "cabs" are really small and cramped with not a good view and that bell just makes it loud

Wow, those two cars are sure really close together. It is too bad that the cars are not sold for scrap metal or parts as it is a terrible waste for them to simply take up space in the yard. Does Metra plan on refurbishing the cars when it gets the money?
