Redwall is very special to me. Growing up, I adored reading the books, and watching the cartoon whenever I could catch it on TV. The stories Brian Jacques wrote really inspired me, and I still love them very much to this day. I always liked to imagine myself in that world, adventuring, eating delicious foods, and encountering strange and wonderful characters. So, I figured it was about time I drew myself in the abbey.
I drew this a little while ago, but forgot to upload it. It started out as a sketch, but quickly snowballed into something more. I'm really quite happy with how it turned out. <3 I decided to upload it now, as news has just come out that Redwall is getting a Netflix movie, made by the people who made Over the Garden Wall! They also got the rights to make episodic shows based off the other books. I could not be more excited about this! This news reminded me I never uploaded this, so I figured better late than never right?
