My entry for Not-Fun's Inhuman Character Contest.

This is Cadence. She is a Mite, an alien race from not-fun's comic Inhuman. Cadence is a traveling acrobatic dancer.(think Cirque-du-Soliel) She's friendly but serious, not prone to joking or playing pranks. She travels with her troupe of assorted races treating them as a surrogate family while what's left of her own relatives are still back on their home planet SRYY45b. When not preforming she'll usually be found in a local club, debating politics with anyone who'll give her a good argument. As with most Mites, Cadence has developed a hatred of Rulerists after the near destruction of her home world.
