Something a little different from the usual, that seems like a good World-Building Wednesday post...
Since backgrounds are something I really tend to be lazy about, I decided to draw something a bit more detailed--it was originally going to have one of those Space Hamsters in it (and I may revisit this and add him at some point) but once I started to draw, I got really into it and decided that adding a character would probably hide some of the details.
Anyways, the Space Gerbils live in underground villages, with their homes and businesses built into the walls of the caves and tunnels and caverns that twist and wind beneath the planet's rocky surface.

Thank you very much! I actually really enjoyed doing this one, playing with lighting and details and stuff, maybe I just need to draw a bunch of caves and tunnels and stuff like this is the art equivalent of Minecraft or something.
I also have the version with the little rodent man in it finished now too.

Thanks! I remember actually working on this off and on for a few days, pretty sure I have close to 12 hours put into this one in total but I honestly don't bother to time these things--if I did, I'd probably get frustrated that my output is too slow or something stupid like that.
Anyways, people seem to like it and it was a fun change of pace, so time well spent!
