Not in the team - Magic Kindergarten Project
Part 1 - Baby Dragon Roomies: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40148128/

BONUS - Diaper change time: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40722819/
And after a few days of intense work it is finally ready the third drawing of this small project about Spike and Goldigony having adventures in the Magic Kindergarten. This was clearly the easiest drawing of all until now. I think that for this occasion I was more worried with the main idea than the details, that's why I preferred to keep it simple but understandable and cute. However, certain parts of the drawing didn't result as easy as I thought. Goldigony's posture resulted really complicated to do, especially to make clear that she was Goldigony and not another dragon with her colors, also, this scene isn't probably the best one to show off the diapers of those two adorable dragons. All of this, added to the fact that I'm not the best one with outdoors scenes... Put me really nervous. The result was finally, after days of work and changes, really really decent and I hope all of you like it.
The two baby dragons decided to try new things to make new friends in the school. The practices to join to the bubckball team sounded perfect for those proposes. However, they aren't probably the best buckball players that the school could have... They better watch the games from the stands... There are surely nice friends to make there...
Would there be a part 4? I'm not completely sure, maybe, maybe not... However I'm pretty sure that there could be a couple of "bonus artworks" around this story, not completely related with the main story but really interesting.
Thank you very much for the big support to this series of drawings! You're really amazing! :3

The tale of Spike & Goldigony is one people of all ages can relate with.
The first part showed Goldigony getting Spike as a room mate. It is usually the way to help those new to a far different environment feel a little more secure as they adapt to the change in their day-to-day life.
Goldigony may not openly show liking to have Spike sharing a room with her. However, deep down, she is, just as Spike is, happy to know they are not the only dragon in the school.
***
Knowing the pair can relate as dragons who have been raised by ponies is one thing, outside of being baby dragons, to allow a friendship to bloom. This will take us to the second installment in the series. Spike and Goldigony sharing laughs as they go to lunch together. Goldigony no longer has to feel so awkward at lunch in being asked innocent questions as to why she does not look like an Earth Pony, Pegasus, or Unicorn. She may even be more able to talk to Unicorns in Magic Kindergarten about being a dragon knowing that Spike can help as a support if the discussion got too uncomfortable.
***
This image shows how, despite their progress, the pair still have challenges in 'Fitting In'. They have actual hands / claws and, given the rules for Buck Ball, may be asked to kindly do something, like watch the game, or perhaps become cheerleaders?
***
I see the story developing around, after being not allowed to play Buck Ball, finding friends in those other Unicorns who may have been rejected for the team. Perhaps, after the game, Goldigony & Spike hear some pony crying and, upon investigating, discover a filly and/or colt trying to hide how sad they feel for not making the team? Perhaps this, or these, ponies open up to our dragon heroes and, through a friendly conversation, decide to play games together? Maybe they would play a game all their own? (Have you seen the 2017 movie? It was placed between Season 7 and 8 and features a game. Though the game is mentioned more in the prequel book, 'The Stormy Road To canterlot'. I think it is in multiple languages, too!)
***
This, to me, is a great mini series that would be a story arc all its own that would rely less on Twilight & Spike and more on Spike & Goldigony showing how friendship and kindness can be found anywhere with any creature. Perhaps, instead of being Twilight's #1 Assistant, Spike would go on to work with Goldigony to discover their dragon origins while helping to show Equestria, and lands beyond, how different creatures can be friends through showing how race, species, and other factors do not determine who can be a friend?

Great work, Sweetie! *Applause* I look forward to your next great inspiration.

Yes Yosh, you're describing pretty much how the story is going to work. The idea with those drawings was of course, to show a kind of evolution through the pictures and a kind of backstory that viewers could imagine by their own, but only could get the small details reading the story deeply. The details will help to understand better all the context of the drawings and will be interesting and kind to read.
Yes, I watched the movie, indeed, I watched it before catching up the seventh season. The movie was the first one released in my town cinema, all the Equestria Girls movies were never released here and I was really disappointed. I was really happy of being able to watch the movie, and my parents went with me. I was pretty disappointed after watching the cinema half room when the stupid Minions movie (sorry, but I hate those no sense creatures with only stupid jokes behind) was completely full. I was also disappointed because I'd invited my brother who watched with me the first four seasons and he rejected my invitation because he wanted to spend the day with his girlfriend... Who could be invited to watch the movie too of course... They separated after two years... All this situation made me feel really frustrated. In the best moment of my brony status, when I was day-to-day with the show, and with a lot of friends to talk with, they decided that the movies didn't arrive to my town. However, when I was two seasons behind, already outside of any brony community, with basically no friends, my brother has already lost the interest in the show... they decided to bring the movie here... I hate the theater company for this.... However, ignoring all the backstory, it was an amazing experience to watch MLP in the big screen. I wore my Sweetie Belle hand-made T-shirt. I remember how bright was the poster in one of the walls of the cinema... wallpaper that I still have in my phone's lock screen. The movie, separating the facts that it is better or worse, was an amazing experience, especially listening the songs "Open up your eyes" and "Rainbow" sung by SIA at the end credits... Leaving the cinema with that song in the background was amazing. *sighs* If the movie were released in 2016, I would have enjoyed it thousands of times more, sadly, destination is cruel and it was released in 2017, probably the worst year of my life until now (yes, including 2020).
Thanks for your comment Yosh. I'm pretty happy of finally finishing those three artworks! Now it is time to start with the story. It will be fun to do!

And it is going to be great to read the story as you start to release it. Do you plan to make it three parts? One part for each picture? Will it go up on FiM Fiction?

I was still married and just about ready to head off to the school to get my Seeing Eye Dog when the movie came out. My wife did not want anything to do with this. Peep had a friend who was interested and I took the two to see the movie.
I wish I could have seen the higher quality animation used in making the 2017 movie. People told me that Spike's ear fins were translucent! That would have been a great detail to see.
It would have been nice to see the bird pirates, too. The only birds we really saw were the occasional griffon and the songbirds Fluttershy had. Twilight's owl and Celestia's phoenix, too. However the bird pirates were able to talk and had a fun little theme of each having a missing part of their body. (I read this point about the pirates while trying to get more information on the movie.)
The descriptive audio for this movie was terrible. The woman who did it sounded extremely uninterested in describing the non-verbal activity. There were also many scenes that had no description at all. (Equestria Girls: Legend Of Everfree had amazing descriptive audio that had little 'Easter Eggs' for those who listened to it.)
Overall, for me, the movie is great if you allow your mind to not consider how Starlight Glimmer, and other notable characters, were not around to stop Tempest Shadow. Cadence, Luna, and Celestia being easy to defeat was no surprise. Derpy was the only thing that kept Twilight from the same. If Discord, Starlight, and Trixie were present, the invasion would have ended quite quickly.
'The Stormy Road To canterlot' goes into detail in how Tempest and Grubber were the ones that caused the destruction of Mt. Aris. The book also helps make sense of why Princess Sky Star is how she is in the movie. The most important part is how the story of why Fizzlepop became Tempest is detailed very well. (The movie makes Spring Rain and Glitter Drops seem like they stopped caring about their friend. However the story points out how they really did try hard to not abandon Tempest after she broke her horn.)
If you have not read the book, and it is possible to find an e-book version for you, let me know and I will get it for you. It is really a good read. I also believe there is a Spanish Audio Book, too!

I look forward to your story and hearing more of what you think of the final seasons of Pony. :)

Thanks Yosh. And no, I haven't read the book. I guess I will do that one day now that I know that it exists. Thanks for telling me about it. I'm currently not in the mood of doing that due to several reasons, but I would of course being more than happy to that in the future.
For the moment the deep details of the story structure aren't completely planned. But yeah, it is going to be released in Fimfiction and should be quiet long, at least 10 k words and will take me a while. Let's see how this goes. This project is really making me feel happy, relaxed and accomplished and it is by the way one of my new year goals. I'm taking that really serious because I'm tired of having a poor life and I will do whatever I have to do to change that...
