The piano has reclaimed its spot as my oasis in the past couple of weeks. Although I will sometimes leave music to pursue other things, every time I come back, it is always there waiting for me, ready for me to discover something new. Sometimes those discoveries are about harmony and composition; other times they are discoveries about myself. And at all times, composing and performing helps me to shed light on my emotions and being in ways which words seem to fail to do so.
