A fan game we play has their own special versions of "shiny" pokemon, called Melans by the users. It's a dark coloration of classic pokemon that their art team have designed. You hunt these by breeding and hatching eggs :3 It's a fun little thing to have the specific pokemon you're hunting drawn, called "Bait", by commissioning an artist or drawing one yourself to bring luck, since melans are *very* rare. I've done a handful of these so far, it's super fun to draw these cuties in new colors too
