The hit prequel to Dai II and Dai: Inquisition
Before I'd settled on sheep, Dai's initial concept was an eternally-exhausted imp from a netherworld connected to the human collective unconscious, working the graveyard shift to harvest fear from mortals in the waking world; he mostly did this by intruding into other peoples' dreams and shaping them in weird, vaguely horny, usually fwoompy directions. Those who wake up in the middle of these strange dreams may catch a glimpse of the netherworld -- and the unusual form, size or shape they've taken on -- before they fully awaken.
I might actually finish this one out with some full shading and a background later, I still really like the concept and want to do more with it!
