I decided to animate a digitigrade walk cycle to get a better understanding of animal legs (mostly the anthro ones). The body was added onto the legs after I was done, so the character doesn't actually have a name or, well, personality, although I do know he's a male otter. Anyway, when you draw or animate digitigrade legs, I find it helpful to think of it like a human with really long feet walking on their tiptoes. This was animated on Pixilart.com if you want to try for yourself.
