Vung Tau, the last beachhead and evac point for the US military in Vietnam. Here we find our little door gunner at the end unsure of whats next to come. In one month shes gone from the skies covering a tactical retreat to a rapidly field promoted Captian leading troops on the ground. Of course going from the side of a huey for 4 years to the ground with little inbetween training well, it leads to some lousy calls with artillery and airstrikes including a bad napalm drop on her former position leading to lighting herself on fire...along with a couple slower troops and a whole mess of NVA regulars. Course with a dire situation like that, it makes sense she would want to get a quick letter written to hopefully find home before a quicker snipers bullet found her.
