If you actually made the pot you would not be able to fire it with any metal on or in it. (I took ceramics for two years)
I don't know if there really is any way to do that, because if you used clay you could bake at home the same problem comes up, can't bake it with the metal. If you used some kind of air dry clay than theres the possibility of it falling apart when you water it or just general use.
The only way I could see it working is using a very tight weave that stands on it's own and lining it with some waterproof thing. Or wrapping a real pot with maille.

There would be no point in that if you did a tight weave, it would stand on it's own. Also in order to weld it would have to be stainless or some other metal, aluminum is not easily welded and gives off a toxic smoke in the process.
