I actually have a "mega fat suit" (currently in storage) made from unassuming everyday stuff that just like a really soft bed when in "bed mode." It's got a pair of Foof chairs as the butt cheeks. Together, they're at least 14 feet wide, filling the width of most standard bedrooms. The belly part is made from body pillows, dog beds, and various comforters layered together and tied up in bed sheets. A massive fursuit could probably be built around this "mega fat suit." I'd assume it would need some sort of cooling system and an "emergency evac" sort of thing.
There are other options than Foof chairs that are actually bigger, but they're way pricier.
