Ok, this is self shipping art, but I've had to deal with a pandemic and political chaos over the course of last year. Let me have this.

Anyways, I got into Undertale in the Autumn of 2020 by just watching a playthrough of the True Pacifist Run. Of all the iconic characters I took note of, Asgore, the King of All Monsters, caught my attention the most.

What I really love about him is his gentle personality, and I can understand him having been trapped in the Underground for so long as well as that day his son Asriel got killed by humans. Say what you will about Asgore's actions after that, but I can see him going out of his way to at least heal on his own after monsters finally leave the Underground in the True Pacifist ending.

As for me? I'm betting the monsters in the Underground have no clue what's going on at the Surface, so if I were to fall into the Underground, I would just relay the current events of the Surface to Asgore and spread the word to the rest of monsterkind from there.
