Finally some brand new art! Made against overwhelming odds, constant lack of time and brainpower to spare. It took several weeks but it's finally here. Possibly the most overdue piece ever: a proper reference sheet for yours-truly-as-a-hyena. This is actually my primary alter ego (aka fursona). You've probably already seen the secondary one, the antelope. For certain reason I went with a ref sheet for that one earlier.
Overall though, in the imaginary furry world I'm not showing "myself" a whole lot. I'm rather the guy behind the camera.

Well, I hope that you mean I got those specific features right.
Your comment makes me understand another issue: occasionally people claim that Wanda's face looks odd, or needs some more work, or something like that. It might have been true in the past, but I'm really content with the current version. But maybe that's what they mean, her muzzle may look too blocky to them if all they know are wolves and foxes! Well, too bad for them, she's no teeny weeny foxie.

quite possible. not every furry is interested to learn everything about the most common species, some have even no clue about the one representing themselves... all they know is knots. :P
but yes, correct facial features. maybe it looks odd because of the upright stance and the necessary adjustment of the skull's shape? some artists use the actual animal's skull shape, making the head look flat and wide and too forward... in the end nothign you can do will please everyone. :)
