Clypse the Umbreon trekked through the wilderness atop the shoulder of his girlfriend Volvautia the Eevee in her towering 22 foot Mega Leafeon form. Their task was fairly simple: to find a nice photoshoot for her job as fashion model at Lolanda the Lopunny’s firm.
Beautiful and elegant, Leafvautia’s towering figure was almost like a tree itself in the forest they passed through. Clypse couldn’t help but blush as his paws rested atop her bouncing chest for lack of a better place to put them.
At the base of a hill they paused. Leafvautia set Clypse down and pulled a small backpack out of her basket like cleavage supported by her kimono to withdraw her oversized tablet. She wanted to look over directions and the weather forecast. Strangely the rain and misty weather wasn’t around like they were hoping for for the Spring theme. Clypse already had to take off his rain jacket for how unexpectedly warm it was.
The Umbreon pawed his way up the hill alongside an old hardly wooden fence to see where the weather they were expecting was. Nearing the top, the trees cleared and to his surprise the sunlight seemed stronger than normal. Blinking twice, he realized there were what seemed to be two suns in the sky; one a circle and the other a star pattern. The patterned star, as if on cue, dimmed and Clypse could make out a truly immense figure filling the sky. The grand magnificent lady was behind the horizon; her mere posterior was significantly larger than the mountain range in front of her. The orb on her chest that bore the sun marking itself was larger than the actual sun and as big as her head.
The goddess’ head turned ever so slightly, impossible to notice if it wasn’t for her monumental size. The hint of purple eye partially hidden by the atmospheric depth looked down at Clypse, as it clearly making him out in the tiny land. She smiled and seemed to give a faint nod.
Clypse’s heart fluttered as he knew this was Zenythia the Goddess of Stardust, the mother to this entire world and all across the stars. She had come for a visit in her typical unannounced manner while making sure her might and glory was clearly displayed in height.
Running down the hillside, he found Leafvautia scratching her head over why she wasn’t getting reception out here.
“I think that overzealous Zeraora goddess Thoryza is around messing with satellites again,” frustratingly muttered to Clypse as he approached.
“Oh don’t worry Volvautia,” he exclaimed. “The perfect spot for the shoot is at the top of the hill! Let’s hurry up there.”
“Oh Clippy dear? How can you be so sure?”
“Because it has a truly divine backdrop fit for the lovely goddess you are to me,” Clypse said with watery eyes of excitement.
A wonderful picture done by Stampy of my Zenythia the Cinccino/Espeon/Ninetales, he did it with a breathtaking foreground for her to loom over in all her glory.
This picture inspired me to really push towards exploring ground level foregrounds with macros on or behind the horizon when it was first made. Even more recently I had this picture up to explore how to do atmospheric depth in colored pencil.
Twin Suns is a delightful picture that I’ve made very good use of since it was made. Thank you so much Stampy!

Dang Stampy did awesome work with this picture <3 <3
And love that question of "Is she over the horizon or is the sun itself nestled in her bosom?"
Fun little story again with those descriptions and d'aww over the “Because it has a truly divine backdrop fit for the lovely goddess you are to me”
