I like sand as a medium... it's quite forgiving, and shaping the hardened sand in flowing motions has similarities to using a soft brush on paper...

In Romo, a danish island, the beach is about a mile deep. No tide's reaching the sculptures, just rain and wind will level the works over weeks...

Well, there's a problem with sculptures of a certain height... unfortunately the amount of sand to shovel up and compress beforehand increases exponentially... ;)

One of the few places where "Sand in your vagina" comments are moot.

It's nifty with her lying along side trench likely used to build her form.

I love how the sand is like clay, I always thought using sand as a medium was quite intriguing. This looks amazing and quite realistice good job hun.

Then you should definitely try it some time, it's quite rewarding... :)
You just need a big shovel to heap up and compress, and a small shovel to carve and smooth...

I think I may just do that, I just need to buy a small shovel, and find a way to the lake XD
