The flavours exploded in Nessa's mouth as soon as the tarte touch her tongue. Suddenly all she could think about was getting that next bite into her mouth. Nessa's hand and fork became a blur, eating bite after bite. A brief pause to take in a deep breath with a blissful smile on her face.

"I told you it was good" Sonia chuckled as her friends protesting faded from memory. "I figured you would want a second helping. The tarte is at its best when fresh" Sonia placed the plate in front of Nessa's face. the scent wafting to her nose. Nessa could only help but finish her first piece before graciously accepting another offering.

Nessa swallowed the last bite of her first piece, tilting her head back

"Well what kind of friend would I be if I turned you down?" Nessa nodded as Sonia placed the plate down.
