Well hear me out, the hair command regularly for most set programs, Although easy, They kill pc's, My work pc, Couldn't handle it, let alone this one. The hair command is much much strenuous on the harddrive, when it's overloaded it just shuts down.

But because I've been down this road I can put a skin on her to make it closely appear as fur, That and I'm Gonna see about Ink' n' Paint mat's on her
