I find that as I try to locate myself, that I wander in a mass of metaphors. The most recent, which strongly appeals to my Pagan soul, is that Coyote is more than the stereotypical, laughing trickers. He is lusty, strong, sometimes wicked, and powerfully positive. He is a teacher.

In some ways, he is the personification of the Tarot card, "The Fool" in its most dignified aspect.

In fact, I would love to see a furry artist draw that card, one day, only having the main -human- character being depicted as an anthropomorphic Coyote with an infant human crawling at his heels.
