That's actually kind of a funny thought I've had with the megas! Seeing as their eyes are really just a facsimile of the real thing, I suppose there's nothing stopping you from giving it a squish all the same hahaha. I wouldn't worry about them objecting nor would I worry about them getting damaged either, I feel like they're probably a little more durable than they let on!
That's what I thought too, those aren't exactly "real" eyes to be vulnerable, I wonder how would it be like to get them squeezed and etc... Unless vision is coming from a fixed point of space so surface shape would have no influence, but that would also be fascinating on it's own...
If you're curious about who the character is, I just refer to them as Malvo, who you can find in a not-so-recent example here. If you're curious about what species he is, it's just a personal race of mine that I doodle from time to time! I actually drew all three shapeshifters as them in this pic here!
