My cat had to be put down recently due to what I've been told was thrombosis. Last time I saw him I was only home for the night to go to a football match, but his back paws were swollen pretty badly. He could still walk around but wasn't as mobile as he used to be.
I cried when I found out, not till a good few hours afterwards as I'd ignored my phone's beeping indicating text messages assuming they could wait. The background picture was drawn by a good friend of mine and I can't thank her enough for it, it perked me up that there were people offering condolences and this picture really made me smile even though it dig bring tears back to my eyes at first.
