I like this introduction, seems like there are a few ways you can take it. One is to draw it out in this kind of soft, dramatic style and make a ballad/concerto out of it, you could have it suddenly get more dense and have a firm beat to it which would give it a sort of 80s pop flavour, especially if you added other instruments, or you could continue it on and add more piano layers as the piece goes on to stretch it into this epic, constantly building Wagnerian piano solo.

Thanks for the advice ^^; I'm playing around with it still... so far I'm thinking of keeping it slow, just not real sure where to go or how to get there

Both of your songs i have listened to have a beautiful deep piano sound...and i think what would make this song soar is having some high strings that create a melody that weaves around the notes of the bass piano. Whenever i write music i have a poem or a story or a scene in mind. I'm trying to get the melody to represent whats happening. Not sure what im talking about? Have a listen to Peter and the Wolf by Prokofiev, or In the hall of the mountain king by Grieg. From a song you should be able to form in your mind a picture of what could possibly be going on.

Yeah... that requires a lot more editing than I can be bothered with at the moment tho... I'm mainly trying to think of ways to extend what I've got right now... and I've managed to put in a few more sections into this... I'll try and re-record it sometime and upload it ^^
