Though the speed and agility of a speedster like Veloc-C-Raptor makes them a tricky target, it looks like it's the intelligence of the Orthontis that makes them a dangerous opponent. Force equals mass times acceleration and I would imagine those prosthetic legs are composed of lightweight but very strong materials.
I expect Cave-Croc will be at least off balance and possibly stunned, allowing for Veloc-C-Raptor to get some more telling blows in or make an escape depending on her intent.
