I expected it to be crap because you mis-spelt orchestral (I'm a prejudicial sort of guy), but this is actually pretty bloody good. It reminds me of the recently passed era of video game music. The sounds are all pretty generic, but I think that just adds to the nostalgic charm of it. The only thing I'd really recommend changing is to get rid of alot of the bends you've used alot, some of them are just awkwardly placed.

Overall, I liked it - Good job man! Better than alot of the musical crap that gets uploaded to FA

Thank you for the complement. And even adding the helpful little bit. I'll be sure to keep the portamento to more of a minimum. I did use a lot because I only recently figured out its potential. A large amount of portamento works better on techy music, but I still rather like it in this song. Perhaps it would be better to keep it, but make it less obvious or noticeable. I'll keep this in mind in future composition. (lol)

faux-string. Heh. I guess you're pretty right about that. I dunno what you mean by 'church' style (I've been coming up with various thoughts about that though), but I do love my lengthy notes followed by quick successions of fast little notes. And the constant flow of mono-length background strings.

Wow, I feel particularly smart now. Now if only I could think as hard about more important things instead of my hobbies.

I really like the feel of it. Only thing I can really find wrong with it are the placements and the speeds of some of the slides.

What plugin do you use for the various instruments?
