I've fallen in love with another idea by the ever-talented  wolfman-al, called 'Small Gods' involving ancient Egyptian Gods returning to the mortal realm... only at a diminished state due to the lack of faith and belief in them. Luckily they meet a human ('Anon') who gives them some measure of power back with his own belief and faith in them... but sadly (for some of them) they're still pretty tiny... and might not get too much taller than possibly 5 feet in height (if a few pics taking place sometime in the future are any indication).... if even that, as they try to adjust to the modern human realm.

WELL me being me, decided to play with/commission an AU/Alternate Universe concept where they return to the Mortal Realm with all their powers and height intact. I love Bastet (followed by the grumpy lioness Sekhmet) so decided she should be the first god to interact with this brave new world. The perky cute kittycat loves what she sees... but has begun to wonder if she should update her outfit.

I'd love to give Bastet all the love and cuddles. :D
