the snake is readable TBH. If you dont mind me saying- I do like that you hinted at the scales, however I feel its a bit too random and too little- especially when compared to how the pony is handled. I do like the face shape. Kinda reminds me of a boa constrictor. Now as far as tips for the scales... I have no clue. I just suck at them...LOL. Maybe take a peek at japanese style art- like the koi fish or their dragons.
Now, I must say- I am envious on how you color hair. very nicely handled and I like the transparency for the eyes. I like the hoof feathers too and the design on the legs. Nice concept that her horn is filling up with the blood.
