LOL it's ok XD I'm happy to help! My first suit (commission) was Blox, my first head was a personal character, I used plastic mesh, never ever again o_O I strongly suggest not using that stuff, it falls apart easily over time, my first commission, along with all the others thence forth were made using a balaclava :)
DF fur is great! But you an get the same fur for WAY cheaper and faster at fabrics.com ;) just look for shag :D

Every time I see a tutorial with plastic mesh, I just thought... you know, that doesn't seem the best way to go.
I try fabrics.com but the length seems really short. I see these gorgeous fursuits with this longer fur (i'd love to have shaggier fur in some parts, especially when creating a hair tuft and tail), but fabrics.com doesn't seem to carry long fur.

fabrics.com is the same as DF shag :D in legnth too. The furs used here however are cubby white from CR rafts and MM Fox white. You can buy MM FOX the longest pile length that I know of, (though NFT is VERY long, but SUPER expensive XD) from whitewolfcreations or from CR crafts :)
Ohh gotcha, thanks! I really need to get to learning fabrics before I even try my hand at this, haha. Thank you for the info, though. I'll definitely be checking those out. I love how fabrics.com offers coupons, too, it's great.
