🌅Luani Island🌅
A semi-tropical island located somewhere south west of Hoenn. The island is one of many fabled Mirage Islands, and is a safe-haven for Pokemon. No humans may cross into this island, as many mystical forces protect it.
It is well known for being a home to Solrock's and Lunatone's for a millenia. You will find Solrock and Lunatone motifs around the entire island. While they're appreciated together in unison, the islands towns may focus more on one than the other.
Luani island is also home to a great calamity many decades ago, where the island was set ablaze in fire, until a Zygarde came forth to put out the great fire, and restore the island to its former glory. Zygarde is now seen as a Guardian and protector. A shrine dedicated to him resides beside Sonnige City- the main capital of the island.
While Sonnige City and the other 2 large cities are very modern, most towns are a lot more historical and old fashioned.
