Thank you very much :3 When I do art for myself, I often like doing these kinds of 3rd person art creating art creating life type of thing. You can get really creative with it. I'm happy you like it, I do as well.
The image started as just a blank tablet with me holding her like she lived on my desk, but then I thought it was too plain and I could get more depth if I made it a screen tablet with an image drawn of it, like grass. The picture originally was just blades of grass but it always looked a bit weird and had to detail each individual piece of grass so I ended up adding things like a pool of water, then sand and ultimately I ended up with a tiny piece of grass that was blurred out in favor of that ripple effect I decided to add at the end.
