
Part one: our heroine, like so many before her, finds a mysterious scale on the ground and doesn't know any better than to pick it up.
This is an old sequence I did in 2009, back before I could draw humans. I'm still pretty pleased with the sequence, though - for one thing, it's by far the longest I've ever done - so I decided to post it anyway. It will go up in sections, as the whole thing is far too long to post in either individual submissions or a single image. Comments are welcome.
