This was a piece that I did as a 3 marker challenge several years ago, that I decided to add the blue background as a bonus color once I finished with the dragon. At the time, it was easily the best dragon I had ever drawn and I was very proud of it. I still am, if I'm being honest. I had always found dragons very difficult to draw and this really felt like a sign that I was improving as an artist.
