Don't worry, there's an alt without the wings.
I want his wings to be temporary. He can only use them in desperate situations because sprouting wings takes a ton of energy. The upside is, his wings are that of a vulture's, meaning he can fly/glide for longer periods without getting tired. It would suck if they were like a bird of prey's since, well, powered flight and all...
So you will most likely see Dahurg and his kin without wings for most of the time, unless I'm gonna be depicting something very specific.
