I started digitally painting my own backgrounds years ago after watching Bob Ross. Before I'd go to work, I'd get on photoshop and quickly try and recreate what I saw him paint.
This wasn't a Bob Ross painting but its from when I did digital painting, https://www.furaffinity.net/view/5114971/. Nowadays, I use 3D backgrounds since they can be reused and viewed from different angles.
