The show's been renewed for a second season, actually, and I've heard nothing to suggest that had been rescinded -- if anything, the response to the show's LGBTQ+ inclusivity has been overwhelmingly positive, and the show as a whole has two pending awards nominations, including an Annie (the animation-specific equivalent to an Oscar) for Best Character Design for the season finale.
Long story short: if Disney does cancel the show because a few pearl-clutching grannies can't stand the show having a bisexual protagonist, they're idiots.

Maybe it's just regional variance, but a lot of the Soccer Moms out in my neck of the woods are open-minded about relationships, for others if not for themselves -- so to my mind, anti-LGBTQ+ attitudes are an outdated relic of people still mentally stuck in the 1950s, destined to be swept into the dustbin of history before too much longer. (The Karens I'll grant you, they'll complain about anything regardless of its impact on them. It's enough to make me feel sorry for anybody named Karen who isn't A Karen.)
