Nickname: Jungle Boy, Shapeshifter, Beast Legionaire, Wild Guardian, The New Tarzan

Appearance: He is a Japanese-American boy who was raised by his zoologist parents in the Congo jungle in Africa till the age of 10 when they sent him to live with his grandparents. He is quite muscular due to his upbringing in the jungle. He had a scar on his chest after being attacked by a rogue black panther. He has slightly long, wild hair, blue eyes, slightly serrated teeth and only wears a brownloin cloth around his waist with a necklace with fangs around his neck. Upon moving to Back to America, he wears a black, short-sleeved shirt and grey shorts but still wears his tooth necklace and doesn't like wearing shoes. It is revealed he is chosen to be the new Wild Guardian, a warrior capable of shapeshifting into any type of bird or animal at will even mythical creatrues to protect both humans and animals from the forces of Chaos. When he activates his power, his pupils become a feral gold like a wild animal, his shirt tears apart, exposing his chest and tribal tattoos appear all over on his body. (Inspired by Mowgli from the Jungle Book and Tarzan)

Backstory: As a child, Max was raised in the Congo jungle in Africa with his parents who were famous zoologists and wildlife conservationists. While getting lost in the jungle at night, Max(as a toddler) hears strange voices, guiding him to a strange cave. There, he finds a glowing golden orb in the middle of a cavern with 20 stone columns with a carving of an animal on each one of them. When Max touched the orb, the orb suddenly levitated and flew straight to his chest, absorbing into his body. Max felt a strange energy flowing through him and could feel great power inside of him. A white light explodes all around him, lighting up the cavern and he passes out. After waking up, he found himself in his bed with his worried parents by his side but is unable to remember what happens. They decided to visit a local witch doctor to find out more about it. Strangely, the witch doctor explained that Max "has become one with nature and her creatures". They took no heed at first, but after some time, Max started displayed strange behaviour such as sleeping nude, torn clothes, eating like an animal, constantly walking on all fours and being able to make friends with almost all the wild animals in the jungle even the fiercest predators. When Max was ten years old, he got into a fight with a rogue man-eating black panther. Although he won, he was greatly wounded. After that incident, his parents decide to sent him to live with his grandparents back in America for his safety. He was admitted into Weston High, where he makes a few close friends. Little does he know that his entire life was about to be changed forever.

Personality: Max has a strong connection and love with all creatures. Due to his upbringing in the jungle, he develops many strange habits such as going barefooted, frequently going on all fours and stripping in public. He is also very defensive of animals and birds and loves visiting the forest near the school, foraging or hunting in his animal forms. In the Congo, he also has a great respect for the "Law of the Jungle" and only kills to feed himself. This causes him to be labeled as a freak or a wild boy by many of the other students in Weston High, save for his close friends. Despite this, he is incredibly loyal and close to his closest friends and family. His kind, noble and compassionate heart gains him the friendship of many students and the affection and romantic feelings of many of his female friends. When his friends or family are in danger, Max shows a more dangerous side, acting like a rabid wild beast and brutally attacking his enemies, going so far as to maul them in his animal form. He also can be quite sarcastic and occasionally taunts his opponents. It is revealed that he is a big fan of fantasy and supernatural stories. His favourite stories and Disney Movies are the The Jungle Book, The Lion King and Tarzan. He also has a voracious appetite and has no problem sleeping naked.
