Jenny: A 16 year old blue-haired girl who goes to Weston J.H and becomes friends with Max. She has a determined and stubborn personality with a black belt in karate and martial arts but is also kind-hearted and caring to her friends. She is the one of the few students to learn of Max's secret and becomes one of his closest allies. Together, they formed Team W.I.L.D. She is passionately in love with Max and becomes easily jealous and possessive when other girls fall in love with him. Her weapon is a iron bo staff that is able to change length.

Mikey: A 15 year old blonde boy who is in the same class as Max and becomes close friends with him and Jenny. He was the one who helped Max to fit in society. He is excellent in computers and is gifted with all sorts of technological devices. When he discovers Max's powers, he is immediately amazed and becomes one of his closest allies. He acts as the brains of Team W.I.L.D, skilled in making gadgets and inventions.

David: A 17 year old boy in Max's Class and one of his friends. He is a great basketball, hockey player and has a laid-back attitude to his friends. He becomes one of Max's closest allies when he discovers Max's powers. He and Max share a strong brotherly relationship. Like Max, he has a great appetite as he exercises regularly. His weapons are gauntlets that are incredibly strong

Jake: A adventurous boy who loves the outdoors. He is a former boy scout who knows a lot about wilderness survival. He and Max become close friends as they both love nature and the most loyal member in Team W.I.L.D. However, he can be quite impulsive and reckless at times. He uses a mechanical sword to fight the shadow minions. His weapon is a long spear.

Sophie: One of the most popular girls in all of Weston High, head cheerleader and an excellent dancer and gymnist. She is known as one of the most beautiful women in school due to her good looks and long blonde hair. Due to her popularity,she can be quite haughty. She develops romantic feelings for Max after he saves her from a gang of shadow minions and discovers his secret. She starts becoming nicer and becomes rivals with Jenny for Max's affection. She becomes Max's biggest fan.

Harold: One of the best students in Weston High. He is a slim but athletic man who is good in studies and sports. He is a member of the student council. He is firm with upholding the rules in the school and this causes him to develop a dislike for Max, for his background in the jungle and for his close relationship to Rena. When he discovers Max's powers, he starts to acknowledge him and develops respect for him.

Dennis: An African American student and a great break-dancer. He is a wisecracking, comedic but kindhearted boy who becomes friends with Max. He also becomes a big fan of Max

Bean: Mike's nerdy cousin and one of Max's friends. He is the youngest out of Max's friends but he makes it up for his high intelligence. Bean is one of the star pupils in his class but he is a shy and meek boy who often gets bullied by the older students. He becomes Team W.I.L.D's biggest fans

Holli: A famous and beautiful idol and singer who enrolls in Weston High. She is a caring persons who greatly values her fans. It is also revealed that she loves gardening. She develops feelings for Max after he saves her from an obsessive fan. She becomes one of Team W.I.L.D 's supporters

Rena: The school belle and the head of the student council of the whole of Weston High. She is the daughter of a wealthy family who owns a successful company. She is the best in studies and sports, making her the most popular students in Weston Junior High. Despite this, she is kind, compassionate and protective to her fellow students. She is one of the few students who helps Max to feel welcome in Weston High. Max saves her from a shadow minions' attack during a school camping trip and this causes her to develop a strong crush over him due to his kind-heart and noble personality.

Jade: Rena's close confidant and best friend as well as a member of the student council. She is kind and understanding to Rena and is quite protective of her. She is skeptical of her relationship with Max and does not approve of his relationship with Rena. She immediately changes her opinion on him when he saves her along with Rena during the school camping trip.

Mrs Hoffman: Max's homeroom teacher. She is a patient and caring teacher with a strict side to her students. She becomes Max's supporter when she discovers his powers

Mr Joseph: The principal of Weston High. He is a just and wise man who cares for his staff and the students. It is revealed that he knows a lot of the legend of the Wild Guardian and becomes Max's supporter and acts as a source of wisdom to him.
