Having recently acquired a Chaos Emerald, Sonic became a greater target for an ambush. Thus getting an unfriendly house visit from Robotnik himself. There surely was no way the speedy hedgehog could be trapped by the likes of his arch-enemy. But he was always the playful kind to lure the villainous man into a false sense of security only to turn the tables on him. And this time he was holding all the cards. Robotnik had entered his humble home all alone, with no backup, no machines, and most importantly no witnesses.

At first, the evil scientist was planning to catch the hero off guard. But the second he was spotted he received an unusual reaction from the cheeky boy. "Hold up Buttnik! No reason to throw around punches. I give ya what you want." the blue youngster announced in a tone of humility as he brought out the Chaos Emerald. It was strange seeing the cocky hedgehog like this, but Robotnik being the mad egomaniac that he is instantaneously accepted Sonic's surrender. "Aha! It's good to see you finally know your place, you rotten hedgehog!" The overconfident villain taunted as he stepped closer towards his smaller opponent.

One of the reasons Robotnik felt superior to the blue blur was the difference in size. Sonic would barely stand up to half of his height, making him appear puny. "There is nothing a runty hedgehog like you could do to stop me after I put that shiny beauty into my latest invention!" he once again mocked his capitulating enemy. Just then, a wide smile appeared on Sonic's face. "I did promise to give ya what you want." The emerald began to shine in his hand. "Which is a good ol' butt stomping!" With that, he jumped a bit closer to the rounded man catching him off guard. Sonic knew exactly what to do with his nemesis after the usual monologue of madness he just held. Making fun of the perky boy’s height was a big mistake, especially while invading his home all alone.

Robotnik was blinded by a sudden flash emitted from the Chaos Emerald which the blue hero held closer to his face. After regaining vision, he found his surroundings somehow appearing to be a lot bigger than previously, even Sonic himself looked slightly taller. But as the seconds passed, Robotnik came to the horrifying conclusion that the world wasn’t getting bigger, he was shrinking down! Sonic was so eager to turn the tables on him that he speed up the whole shrinking process with a few more energy flashes. What were Buttnik’s words again? Know your place? Runty hedgehog? Sonic would make sure that the shrinking man would regret ever talking to him like that. His toes were already wiggling in excitement for their new plaything.

Sonic now standing as tall as a mountain in comparison to the bug-sized man approached the puny intruder. There was nothing the tiny villain could do, the mere sight of what loomed above him was enough to send a paralyzing shiver down his spine. Not to mention the powerful footsteps the massive hedgehog took that knocked him onto his back. The playful giant wouldn’t hesitate at all to lift his gargantuan foot over his small enemy. As the blue fleshy ceiling loomed above the insect, Sonic could feel tingles all over himself, every cell of his speedy body was shouting ‘stomp’. Robotnik’s place in the world was certainly found today, underneath tons of foot flesh right under Sonic’s gigantic sole. After this experience, he would certainly think twice before mocking the blue blur.
