Long ago during the height of the feudal wars, a single samurai came across a mysterious red feline, promising power in exchange for nothing but making a wish. Young and foolish, he desired to be the greatest warrior the land would ever know, that he could be unbeatable in any fight he were to get into. With a smirk, the feline granted his wish, with a curse of immortality. He could not be struck down in combat, meaning he would never lose a fight to the death. He would no longer age, no longer die, but suffer the pain of both for the rest of his existence. At first he saw it only as a blessing and rose to the height of power, ruling his own country for a time, before his own people began to realize their Emporer was undying, and accused of sorcery, he was overthrown.

After centuries of aimlessly wandering, he found the world itself was changing, and his name and legacy became lost to legend and myth, as he took up the new mantle of Zero. A sell sword, whomst with a new identity seeks out the red feline to undo his wish, and to finally achieve a warriors death, one of peace and finality. Until then, he works as a mercenary for various tasks, be it transportation, bounty hunting, protection, or intimidation, he seeks to build up a new life while seeking closure to his old...

Wonderful picture done by  Keewata and my final planned character to get, this completing the Amatsu-Zero rivalry. No further characters are likely to be made or owned in the future.
