So...The second official canon character from Vilous is here! Friends...I bring you my AU version of Kadd the Eastern Sergal :3

Kadd the Commander




Kadd was born in the Eastern regions of the Shigu Republic, close to the actual border of the URV, in 1994. He is 21 years old in2015 when the peak of the war and Chapter 1 takes place.


Kadd is serious and merciless Sergal. He can be strict and severe against anyone, especially with his soldiers and Leeric, always trying to discipline them for their often mistakes. As a Shigu commander, he puts great value on discipline, and strives to be the most efficient soldier in Rain’s army. The only exceptions he makes are of General Rain and Captain Alexis, as he works very close with them. When he is in close proximity to them, he changes, usually being more friendly and cooperative.


Kadd can sometimes be very rude and merciless against his friends and comrades when they act in a stupid way, however behind his serious attitude, a larger heart can be found. He is always deeply caring for any soldier and he is highly devoted to Rain and her cause. He sacrificed his life trying to save Rain multiple times, taking bullets to the chest for Rain, and staying behind with the Captain to evacuate the soldiers and the sailors from the S.s. Fox and the S.s. Gloria when the ships were destroyed in combat.


From a young age, he was always fascinated by the Shigu Army. His familiy, a middle class familiy working in the armament industry, supported the idea for him to enlist from a young age. His father scraped enough money for him to be enlisted as a trainee in the Academy, and for them to fully move to Silviria.


Therefore, when he was 12 he was admitted and enrolled in the Shigu military academy, and graduated the basic academy 4 years later. He got a position in the „Shigu Militant Forces“, and soon got a place in the Shigu Army, as a Junior Officer. During the training phase in the militant forces he showed very good behavior and exceptional results in combat and command that proved above average. Unlike other soldiers, he showed extremely good resistance against the cold, and a general resistance to bullets. He could also communicate with his allies more firmly in tough situations. During his time to the academy he met Leeric, and the two became very good friends.

At the age of 18 years old he was promoted to the rank of acting Captain, and he officially took part in his first large battle, the battle for Silviria. In the Battle, the 12th Armored Bataillon defended the Silves familiy from Merryweather’s forces when the MW forces rolled in the city center and close to the Silves Palace. As the forces stormed the building, the unit was powerless in stopping them. Kadd took 2 bullets to the chest, in an attempt to protect Rain and her brother. She had witnessed the ordeal, and ordered a desperate bayonet charge to the remaining soldiers which brought enough time for a successful evacuation, allowing Kadd and the group to exit to a safer area. Upon reaching a safe area, Rain would personally take care of Kadd’s injuries and had ever since grown up to like Kadd. From that day he swore loyalty to the Silves family, especially to Rain, and offered to help her when she would get the rank of Captain. Following this battle in the Palace, Rain and Kadd teamed up in order to continue the fight for Silviria, the battle that started Kadd’s current battle career



For his bravery and combat missions, he received the following awards:

-The Silves Award (ribbon)

-The Order of the Vilous Soldier (medal)




Following the further successes of Rain’s battles, her promotions and the positive outcomes of Rain’s Shigu army, he would go on to support Rain and help her with more than being a simple Acting Captain. He became the gunner for Rain‘s Maus Tank, and also a personal adviser, always talking the strategies and plans for battles with her first.



Therefore Rain became a sort of friend, always helping Kadd in times of need.


This granted also granted him the rank of Commander, and he commands an armored unit, composed of 14 tanks.


Kadd’s relationship with Leeric is also very friendly and somewhat funny, with Kadd becoming a sort of a „father figure“ for Leeric, and helping him deal with his fears and problems.
