so I originally designed an icon for the NJ furs telegram group I've help moderate for years now ever since I joined telegram. Was created by  Shy_Matsi so I decided to update it
this one particularly is based off our NJ flag and has quite a bit of iconography behind it
our state dog is the seeing eye dog (I don't know why) but one of the most common for them are Labradors
our state fish is the brook trout which said cat is holding
the horse is our state animal so that part stayed in the center
lastly the flora decided to illustrate there is Aralia spinosa or more known as the devil's walking stick, as per the jersey devil reference and does grow about locally
