Because we're not taking advantage of actual homegrown talent - both England and Germany had extremely strong under-21 teams, Germany fielded multiple players from that team in their World Cup squad while we squeezed in two and padded everything else out with the same list of names who frankly aren't able to pull their weight effectively enough. Add some really questionable fielding from Signor Capello and you've got a football team who just can't play. I doubt we really ought to have gone through - our group-stage performance was just as abysmal.

We look good on paper because the Premier League is strong, but that's because we have highly-paid foreigners playing our football for us. That has to change.

Well, England is after German in my order of fan precedence, so I gotta admit, I was torn to see 'em playing each other. But in the end, I had to cheer for Germany.

I was actually the same coz I was supporting Germany at first..but they played badly at first rounds, so for this match since I'm part..England fan, I went for England. XD

im not into footy myself but from what ive heard england did really crap this year.

They were pretty lackluster, which is sad given their lineup. Sure, Rooney and Lampard may not be Ronaldo or Kaka, but they should have been better than what I saw throughout the tourney.

Don't worry. AC is seriously over-rated ^_^
