A Birthday gift for my friend

I really wanted to give this a background, but I was having real trouble with it and I didn't want to have it be late so I just decided to leave it as is.
I wanted to try and keep him as close to on model as possible, but I guess my style doesn't lend itself to that much (those stubby legs man) so he ended up looking a bit more anthro than I wanted him to, but Ph0220 approved the sketch of the pose so I suppose all is good. I did end up giving the four fingers though like he has in the movie, well technically (the thumb is obscured)
I've been away from full shading and lighting pictures for a long time so I hope everything came out OK, I was trying to remember how I did things as I worked.

You did such a great job here that missing background doesn't bother me one bit.
You really managed to make him look all full and relaxed, and I have to wonder if this is the biggest belly you have ever drawn so far?
Those feet paws are also super great looking, along with the one hand scratching that belly.

I think it actually might be I wanted it to be extra big for you ;)
The paws were probably the hardest part with all the shading and lighting, and the belly scratching was something I threw in because I thought you'd enjoy it, so I'm glad you think they came out well.
