Fight Manager and Hoppy the Marvel Bunny, 20 February 202...
Popping back in on ``Powerhouse Pete'', lead story in Fawcett's Funny Animals #2. You can see the original at https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=20526 page 8. More of the story of Hoppy being roped into boxing the great big bruiser type, and in his non-Marvel-Bunny form being completely out of shape to do it. Here he's being handed ... uh ... those things you pull out from the walls so that in a cartoon you get pulled into the walls. In redrawing this I learn how much work in establishing Hoppy's form is done by the coloring; his right arm particularly is barely there, in the original; it's just a wash of pink.
