Well it was inevitable, Paru creates so many characters eventually some end up falling by the way side. It's still amazing she manages to give them such character and personality, even if it's just for one chapter. I think it was Hirohiko Araki (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure) that said that when in doubt in a story, create a character, and after all this time doing Beastar dailies and fiddling with my own comic idea, I'm starting to internalise that wisdom.

It's definitely something that cuts both ways. Paru added a bunch of stuff to the story that she then just completely abandoned a couple of chapters later without any follow-up. Poor San!

She's def better suited for short, slice of life stories like in Beast Complex or the short one-shots we see in Beastars. Makes for better world building too IMO. (and like seriously, wtf was even that story with the whale and the end of the herbivore/carnivore war)😂
