"Both Azurians and Crimz are well known for the special abilities, but what inspires the most awe from onlookers is their weapons. Crafted with rare metals and special gems that are attuned to the user, these weapons are capable of channeling the user's own power and can cut through or smash almost anything in their way. Some of the most legendary among them were forged long ago with Celestial aid and passed down through generations, such as Prince Omni's own sword. Nikozar's sword, however, is different."

"The original blade was found by his grandfather, a great warrior who would pass it to Nik's uncle. But when he fell the sword was broken, and it was reforged years later by Omni. The dragon prince tried to recreate the massive blade's original form, but the split crystal inside proved too difficult to fully reform. Instead he developed two swords, which fit Nik's own unconventional style and used new technology to have the blades retract into the hilt as opposed to relying on a scabbard. Years later, the foxwolf would discover a way to bring the two blades together to combine into the original ancestral sword."

The rough concept was to have a two quick lightsaber like weapons, mainly the glowing, cutting potential, and retracting blades, but with physical blades. The greatsword idea was based off of Bloodborne's Ludwig's Holy blade that went from a one handed sword to a greatsword.
