Yo~

I always enjoy dappling in mech design. This is the backside of a character who I like to call "Regulus" (wings not pictured). He has a backstory which I can't exactly be bothered writing down here at the moment. ^^;
Regulus looks like a machine, but is in fact closer to a living organism than anything else.

His legs were inspired by the Orbital Frames of ZOE and other pointy-legged mechs. Pointed or narrow-ending legs are a big favorite of mine, and you can expect a lot of my mechs to have them.

I also enjoy mixing a lot or organic elements to my mech designs - I find it gives them a positively cool and creepy look. The visible "spinal column", for instance, and the side plates that vaguely echo ribs. He also has a tail, but I've kinda detached it for the purpose of this pic. There's a few designs for it, see, and I'm not sure what I want to be final..
