Anybody else remember playing this as a kid? I can't seem to find anyone other than my childhood friends who knew about this game.

I had a demo for Bloody Roar 2, and I thought it was awesome.

Never went back and tried to actually get the full game though, aside from emulating it on PSP and briefly messing around with the GC version

its pretty hard to like go back to older games now, we're just so spoiled with graphics and better sound haha >,<

I love going back to older games, especially ones that hold nostalgia for me. They sometimes hold up really well!

Better graphics is pointless if the game doesn't play well, and better sound is...kinda moot for someone obsessed with chiptunes and older soundfonts xD

With all the recent reboots and remakes, I had some hope for it. It's doubtful if the company that owns this franchise now didn't see potential for a huge profit from it. I believe the initial company that owned it was looking into another Bloody Roar game until they shut down.
