This is my little horde of miniatures that resides just behind my computer monitor. As one might imagine by looking at these I have a big place in my heart for bears, and a rabbit or two.
There are three commercial toy brands represented.
The first on the left is Teddy Ruxpin. Anyone who knows me knows I'm just about crazy over this bear (Hmm, maybe my icon looks a bit like an illiop?). Behind him are some of the characters from the show, Grubby, Gimmick, Woolly and one of the fobs.
In the middle you can see several Care Bear figures, many bought new when they were still in the stores in the 80's. Tenderheart (my fav), Wishbear, Cheerbear, Grumpybear. etcetera.
On the right are Maple Town figures, Bobby bear, his little sis, Patty Rabbit and a couple others. These too were bought new in the 80's when they were in stores, in this case, FleetFarm.
Intermixed are several bears received as gifts. Pandas, polar bears, black bears and the single Gummi Bear; Cubbi.
There are a few that don't stand no matter how one tries and I didn't wish to start a game of bear dominoes by trying to upright the fallen few for this photo :D
Collection stuff, WILL BE SCRAPPED.

I'll have to admit,my bear collection is huge! I'll upload some pictures of them! I got a Olympus FE 25 I'm not satisfied with.
I was gonna try to name some of the characters,but you gave a good description of each of them! The black bear at the computer,is he one of those "Weatherbee Collection" bears?

Ok Mr. 80s,
